Post high school plans

In 2021, when I graduate, I plan to got to college at the University of Cincinnati. The university is proclaimed to have one of the best Architecture and Engineering programs in our country. I would like to go into the field of Architectural Engineering. I have always enjoyed constructing or putting things together, so I have wanted to do this for years now, i will most likely start out at small construction jobs but eventually i would like to gradually go into management, I would love this job plus they make very good money once you have gone into it for awhile.

Definiton of success

What is success? Success is the imprint you leave when you are gone or what you can look back on your life and say you are happy or glad with what you have accomplished. Looking back to see that you saved someone or when you got the dream home and job you have always wanted your entire life and now you have it. It is what people remember you by, it is the imprint you leave on lives by what you have done. People think that when you die your entire life flashes before your eyes, if so then what you will see as your life should and most likely will be the success in your life.

If i could have 1 new school subject…

If i could have an organization or a program to add to Western Brown Local Schools it would be men volleyball. I know that probably sounds strange but Andre, Wil, Cade, Zyon, and I all said if there was a men volleyball program we would participate, but one rule: no tights. I shouldn’t have to go into detail, but considering the fact there is sports for both genders that both can play, why shouldn’t volleyball also be one? I think every school should add it not just Western Brown. So that is why we should add a men volleyball program to our school.

2 things my family has taught me.

The first thing my family has taught me is that you should make sure that when you want to marry someone, you know you can last til death as you say in your vows because having kids through a divorce is so unfair to them. The kids blame themselves and view parents differently, plus throw in sports and school and living in two homes, it can be stressful.

The second thing my family has taught me is jealousy gets you no where other than gaining hatred or making comments that are unnecessary. For example if one side of a family has more money than the other one side will get mad of the others things and make conflict.

Do you think men and women are equal in today’s society?

I think that men and women are equal in today’s society, or at a minimum they are close to men. Women have began to step up in today’s world by taking roles that were seen as “Men’s” jobs, such as President of the United States, enlisting in the military, or hard jobs like mining. Women are often seen as weak people who cook and clean, but they are independently proving they can be equal to the value of a man. it is vital men and women see each other s equals because when a person sees themselves as greater importance, they look down on the people around.

Arranged Marriages in America

I do not think arranged marriages in America would be suffice, they would corrupt our society and make our people angry. An arranged marriage is when two people are forced to marry based on parental or family choice. People would not like this at all because we want freedom to do things such as marry who we want and love, not who is chosen by others. It is unfair for both people engaged in the marriage because they could have nothing in common and despise each other but for the parents and families, they don’t care, and do it for the title or money. So no, i do not think that arranged marriages in America would work.

Is lying ever justified?

When the thought of lying being justified is brought up, there will typically be controversy, but i say it is justified in a sense at certain times. For example, a life or death situation where you tell the enemy one thing to ensure safety of your self or those close around you. Then others think well it is a huge sin to lie, well i disagree because in some instances lies keep you and the people around you going and sometimes lies spice up stories like the “old fish story’ where every time you tell it the fish gets bigger and bigger. That is my final thoughts.

Love at first sight

When asked on my thoughts on love at first sight, I say that is a false statement and is not true, in some ways yes but no. No, i think you don’t know enough of someone to love them from seeing them. You don’t know their personality, what they like or dislike, hobbies, passions, etc. Then there is also the thought of liking someones looks and clothing and outward appearance, but you don’t really now them or what they are truly like. so in a sense, I am kinda on the fence over whether it can be true or entirely false.
